Social Welfare Department

Social Welfare Department takes charge of the following affairs:

1. Planning, coordination and review of indigenous peoples’ health promotion, social welfare, and right-to-work safeguard policy and laws and regulations.
2. Coordination and review of indigenous peoples’ health promotion, national health insurance, national annuity, and long-term care.
3. Promotion, coordination, review and supervision of indigenous peoples’ right-to-work safeguard.
4. Approval and collection of the employment voucher of indigenous peoples.
5. Planning, management and counseling of the employment fund of indigenous peoples.
6. Coordination and review of indigenous peoples’ occupational training and employment promotion.
7. Coordination and review of indigenous peoples’ emergency assistance and legal service.
8. Coordination and review of indigenous peoples’ social welfare service.
9. Contact and service of indigenous peoples’ mass organizations.
10. Other social welfare affairs related to the indigenous peoples.
