In order to enhance the promotion of tribal tourism, the Council of Indigenous Peoples plans out the "Have a Fun Trip with Tribal Eagle" this year (2018), and has built the lovely mascot "tribal eagle", which helped promote the industry of Indigenous Peoples in the past years, into a near 3-meter large interactive installation. People could watch more than 20 films of beautiful scenery on the touch screen of the tribal eagle. The film would be displayed for two months at the TRA Xinzuoying Station from September 1 to October 2. People would have the opportunity to select the cute baby eagle pillow and the double-set of the tribal tourism as long as they take photos and upload to the Facebook with the tag of ‘# HAVE A FUN TRIP WITH TRIBAL EAGLE”. Moreover, the “Tribal Eagle Weekend Meeting” would be held at 12-15 pm every weekend during the exhibition period. The tribal eagle dolls would be presented at the event and interact and take photos with the people. A limited edition postcard set is available at the event. In order to warm up the press conference on The 13th, The Council invites Kaohsiung indigenous traditional dance group-- “Kaohsiung Indigenous Zuyun Culture Music and Dance Group” to hold indigenous dance show at TRA Xinzuoying Station today (11th). Apart from performing the traditional indigenous music and dance, the show also attracts the masses to interact and take photos with Tribal Eagle and Music and Dance Group. The show could not only successfully promote tribal cultures of Indigenous Peoples, but also encourage the nationals to head for tribes for travel and personally experience the beautiful landscapes of the indigenous villages, traditional foods, cultural industry as well as the beauty of the tribes.

The Council has been actively promoting "tribal tourism" in recent years, creating the tourism brand “utan 'e ho mimiyo” (referred to "welcome to visit and explore in the tribes" in Tsou). Through the deep experience of visiting and exploration in the tribes and sharing the travel ways with the indigenous people, it was hoped to lead the people to deeply experience the harmonious relationship between the Indigenous Peoples and nature, the enthusiasm of the indigenous people, the expression of handicraft and the operation results of characteristic agriculture.
