The Council of Indigenous Peoples (hereinafter referred to the Council) conducted “Youth Taloma--Bringers of Light Program for Intern Manager of Cooperative” in order to encourage the youths from Indigenous Peoples engaging in commercial science, management science and cooperative-related majors and those with cooperative practical experience to apply what they had learned. This is to encourage the young indigenous people to return home (Taloma) to act as intern manager of Indigenous Peoples cooperatives.
The Council stated that the Program will be carried out respectively in 2019, 2020 and 2021 until Dec. 31st, 2021 since its announcement. Besides, application for the Program will be available to Indigenous Peoples youths and Indigenous Peoples cooperatives respectively on December 20, 2018, December 20, 2019 and December 20, 2020. During the period of implementation, the Indigenous Peoples youths would be trained to equip themselves with the knowledge and skills of cooperation, and the qualified Indigenous Peoples cooperatives would be recommended for acting as intern managers. The intern managers involving in this Program would be subsidized monthly salary and the employers would be responsible for the Labor Insurance, pension and administrative fees.
